Zverev delighted with Novak: That's impressive, especially when you're 35 years old

Mischa Zverev comments on his brother Alexander’s return to the field.

Germany’s best tennis player has not been on the court since the semi-finals of Roland Garros when he injured his ligaments.

“We went to the Maldives, it was a nice time, but Sascha would like to be on the field. “He has never had such a long break,” Mischa Zverev began in an interview with Eurosport.

He talked about the current stage of his brother’s recovery.

” Sascha doesn’t just want to play tournaments when he’s healthy, but when he’s really ready in terms of form. It’s much better. I think he will be able to play soon. He currently trains for about five hours a day, and goes to all the treatments.”

And then he compared Zverev to Novak Djokovic.

“Novak is incredibly strong. Get back on the court, win two tournaments and that’s it. He was obviously not hurt, he only had one such break, but he returned to tennis with a lot of confidence and played his game. I’m sure it will be even better. That is impressive, especially when you are 35 years old,” Mischa concluded.
