The topic of vaccination and the situation that befell the best tennis player in the world, Novak Djokovic, has been going on for a long time. Zlatan Ibrahimovic also spoke about that case.
The legendary attacker mentioned that he was vaccinated, but that it was not the same situation as Novak, so he answered the question of the journalists with a counter-question in an interview for the French “Journal du Dimanche”.
– The Australian Open is not the same without Djokovic, and then he turned around and asked the journalist:
– Why did you get vaccinated?
He replied to protect himself and everyone around him, and Ibrahimovic explained his position and followed up on the situation with Djokovic.
– Vaccination for health reasons is not the same as vaccination so that you can play a tennis tournament. People who get vaccinated do so because they believe it is the most effective way to protect themselves from disease. But everyone has their own opinion. People should not be forced to get vaccinated so that they can do their job. I got vaccinated because I believe that is the best way to protect myself, not because I could play football. Those are two completely different things – said Ibrahimovic.
