Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas talked about his dream from when he was a child, he also pointed out that Novak Djokovic still hasn’t reached his peak even though he is 36 years old.
Namely, Tsitsipas dreamed of winning the Grand Slam when he was a boy.
A week ago, the Greek played in the final of the Australian Open, but he could not find the right form to defeat the ten-time champion, Novak Djokovic.
“Winning the Grand Slam is one of the biggest dreams I had as a boy, to do something big in the sport I chose. It’s all about hard, everyday work. You have to constantly improve, both with technique and physical fitness. Look at Novak Djokovic, who is one of the best players of all time, and he hasn’t reached his limit yet,” said Tsitsipas.
It takes a lot of work to be successful.
“Tennis is a marathon, not a sprint. This is a sport where you have to improve every day. One or two results mean nothing, you have to constantly prove yourself. And if you work six hours a day, you become a real machine,” concluded Stefanos.
