Yesterday, Rafael Nadal had the honor of sharing the court with Roger Federer in his last career match.
The two of them, together with the Serbian ace Novak Djokovic, shared a historic rivalry and marked the most exciting era in the history of the white sport.
– In the end, one thing is clear: We spent many years together. The fact is that my relationship with Roger is a little closer on a personal level, but it is also true that with Novak everything has always been fluid. Somehow, there were never any problems between us and all three of us are proud of that – explained Nadal and continued:
– We did everything as a team, we approached the competition seriously, we wanted to do everything in the best possible way. This may be the strongest team in history, but we are all in different situations. Roger and I are not in top shape, Novak hasn’t played for a long time, although he looked very good in training, he played well – Rafa added.
By the way, Novak Djokovic will be on court twice on Saturday, first in singles and then in doubles.
