Roger Federer is not giving up on returning to the field. Although the Swiss was not finished during the entire season, the living tennis legend plans to return to the court.
Even two difficult knee surgeries are not a problem for Federer to return to what he loves the most – tennis. To the delight of the fans, it will happen very soon.
As announced by Federer’s coach Ivan Ljubičić, the 40-year-old ace will return to the field next season, although the exact date of his return is not known.
– We’ll see Roger on the field next year. I don’t know exactly when, but he is going to rehabilitation, he is slowly recovering, but he is not in a hurry either – Ljubičić mentioned.
The former Croatian tennis player also commented on current events in “white sports”, ie the Final Masters in Torino, which starts tomorrow.
– Djokovic is always the favorite. We saw in Paris that he healed a wound from the US Open. And, I hope that Berrettini will go far, I hope that we will watch him in the final – Ljubičić pointed out.
Although it is far from the peak, it is certain that Djokovic will have to pay attention to another new-old challenger next season – Roger Federer.
Who knows, maybe this will be the last active season of the Swiss. What do you think?
