Nadal: The award is because my career is over…

Rafael Nadal received an award from King Felipe IV of Spain for his great contribution on and off the court as well as for representing the country in the right way.

During the award ceremony, the Spaniard touched Roger Federer again.

As is already known, the Swiss will end his career after the Laver Cup.

-” I hope this award was not given thinking that my career is over.” – Rafa said with a laugh… “Far from it, that’s not my intention.” – he added.

This season, Nadal won two Grand Slam titles.

-” This was a different and complicated year. Besides the injuries, there was also some personal news.”

-” Balance is everything in life. When things are going well, you shouldn’t think you’re Superman, and when things are going bad, don’t look at yourself like you’re the worst in the world.” Nadal concluded.
