The disciplinary committee of Serie A punished Roma coach Jose Mourinho with a one-match suspension for a red card in the previous round.
The Portuguese coach was sent off during the match in the 7th round of the Italian championship against Atalanta (0:1).
At the beginning of the second half, the Portuguese were dissatisfied with the referee’s decision. He ran onto the field with that hat and scolded the referee during the trial.
However, in the explanation, the Disciplinary Commission stated that Mourinho was suspended for “entering the field and insulting an opposing player”.
The Portuguese will not be able to lead the team in the 8th round of Serie A when Roma will host Inter in Milan, and that match is scheduled for October 1.
