Murray does not want to give up his goal!

Andy Murray pointed out that he wants to return to the top of tennis, he started this year as the 135th tennis player on the ATP list, while he is currently the 46th player in the world.

-” I am quite disappointed with the results of the last few months. I had health problems in the last eight tournaments. I can handle losing a match because tennis is a tough sport and sometimes you don’t play as well as you would like, but there’s no excuse when you’re not physically ready.” – says Murray.

This season, the Brit achieved only 26 victories with as many as 19 defeats. Murray spent 41 weeks at the top of the ATP list.

-” In the last five months, I was not at the desired level of the game. I have to change that if I want to get back to the top of the world. Now I’m in the top 50 in the world. For most tennis players this is a good ranking, but not for me. I played in a lot of tournaments from Wimbledon to the end of the season. I have to prepare well until the end of the year in order to play the next season at the desired level.” – concluded Andy.
