MASTERS MADRID: Alcaraz celebrated after a reversal, Coric went on

Karlos Alcaraz secured a place in the third round of the Masters in Madrid after a long battle of three sets.

After three sets and reversals, the young Spaniard defeated Finn Emil Ruusuvuori with a score of 2:6, 6:4, 6:2, in two hours and 18 minutes.

The Finn had a great start in the first set, made a game in the fourth game, preserved his advantage and easily took a 1:0 lead.

In the second set, the second tennis player in the world woke up, and in the seventh game he reached a break, managed to save it and equalize.

The third decisive set was played in which Alcaraz already shone, proved why he is where he is and easily defeated Emil.

In the next match, Carlos will play against Grigor Dimitrov from Bulgaria, who was better than the Frenchman Gregoire Barere with 7:6, 7:6.

Croat Borna Ćorić also advanced to the third round of the Masters tournament in Madrid, winning against Frenchman Ugo Gaston 6:3, 6:3. While his next rival will be better from the duel between Polish Hubert Hurkacz and French Richard Gasquet.

Roberto Bautista Agut went further, after a great fight, he defeated the Frenchman Quentin Alis, 4:6, 7:6 (5), 6:3.
