FERRER SAID: Alcaraz will be a player who will mark the era of Spanish and world tennis

The young talent from Spain, Carlos Alcaraz, is playing in the tournament in Barcelona this week.

As is already known, Alcaraz did not play at the Masters in Monte Carlo, so he also lost the first position on the ATP list.

After Carlos achieved his first victory in Barcelona, the director of the tournament, David Ferrer, announced:
“He has already reached the first position, he is the youngest number one to ever take the Grand Slam. He breaks record after record. I don’t want to compare him with Nadal, Djokovic or even Federer, because it is difficult to surpass their shadow. However, I can say without any doubt that he will be a player who will mark the era of Spanish and world tennis,” said Ferrer.

Since the beginning of the year, the tennis player from Murcia has won two titles and has a record of 19:2.
