Alex Corretja: It's a shame, honestly, that Nadal quit

Former tennis legend from Spain Alex Corretja talked about the decision that Rafael Nadal made due to injury.

Namely, Nadal had to hand over the semi-final match to Nick Kyrgios, who directly qualified for the Wimbledon final.

-” It’s a shame, honestly, that Nadal gave up. But, honestly, I expected it. He fought hard against Taylor Fritz, but he probably realized that he cannot be at the top level and that, injured, he has no chance of beating Kyrgiosin the semi-finals and later Djokovic in the eventual final.” – Alex started and added:

–” I know that the decision to give up was very difficult for him. I believe that the most important thing for him now is to recover. Three or four months out of the field and tournaments would be very disappointing for his mind and goals this year,” Corretja concluded.
