Carlos Alcaraz talked about the fight he is having with Novak Djokovic for first place on the world ATP list.
“Djokovic is currently the best in the world, as well as one of the best in history with Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer. All three have dominated in the last 20 years. I can’t let my guard down, I have to go from tournament to tournament if I want to be close to Djokovic in the rankings, even though being there is already a privilege,” said Alcaraz.
If he triumphs in Rio, where he is now playing, on Monday, Carlos will be tied with Djokovic in terms of points on the ATP list, but the Serbian will remain number 1 as the rules dictate.
