The second tennis player in the world, Carlos Alcaraz, is currently playing a tournament in Buenos Aires.
The young Spaniard talked about his goals for this season.
Carlos Alcaraz did not play in Melbourne due to injury, but now he is ready to fight for his return to the number one spot.
He touched on the achievements of Novak Djokovic, even though he is 35 years old.
“Novak has no weaknesses. Every shot is exceptional. His physical condition is impeccable, mentally as well. He is like God, I admired him for years because he managed to stay at the same level, to always be at the top. It’s really, really hard, I admire that,” Alcaraz began.
“I spent a lot of time at the top, in first place. Now my goal is to return to the front and give my best in the upcoming tournaments. I hope so”, added the Spanish tennis player.
The first thing he wants is to win the tournament in Buenos Aires.
“I’m excited to play in Buenos Aires. I had four months without competition, without matches, I just trained and treated the injury. I’m excited to play again, to compete again. I’m looking forward to it”, concluded Carlos Alcaraz.
