Andy Murray reaches the final stage at the Sydney tournament

The British tennis player, Andy Murray, continued to provide great games in Australia. The former “number 1” managed to qualify for the finals of the tournament in Sydney, with a victory over Opelka, after three sets.

It was 6:7, 6:4, 6:4, and the match lasted almost two and a half hours.

Andy Murray, who is currently the 135th player in the world, thus qualified for the first finale of an ATP tournament since 2019.

There was no break in the first set and a tie-break was played, which Opelka won with 8:6. Andy Murray then made one break in the next two sets and reached the final.

In the fight for the 47th title in his career, the British player will play against the better player from the duel Evans – Karatsev.
