Alcaraz is ready to defend the throne!

Carlos Alcaraz, the current number one on the ATP list, is successfully completing his recovery from the injury he sustained at the end of the 2022 season.

The Spaniard had a torn stomach muscle, so he could not perform at the ATP Finals in Turin.

The young tennis player should start training already next week, and his coach Juan Carlos Ferrero, conditioning coach Alberto Lledo and physiotherapist Juanjo Moreno have made a detailed plan of everything.

The last tests from Thursday showed that everything is going as it should. Until mid-December, we will work on strength, cardiovascular training, injury prevention and strength and endurance exercises. After the exhibition in Abu Dhabi, the focus will be on tennis and explosiveness,” said Alberto Lledo

Alcaraz will start the season at the Kujong exhibition in Melbourne, which will be his final test for the Australian Open.
