The Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz will end the year as the best tennis player in the world.
Namely, the first place on the ATP list could only be threatened by Stefanos Tsitsipas and Rafael Nadal, but that fell through because they did not make a name for themselves at the final Masters tournament in Turin.
So it is now official that Alcaraz will be the youngest number one since 2004.
The young Spaniard became the best on the ATP list after winning the US Open, winning five titles, collecting 6,820 points and recording a record of 57-13 in 17 tournaments in which he played.
