Young Carlos Alcaraz secured a place in the quarterfinals of the Masters in Cincinnati, after he was better than Marin Cilic, with a score of 7:6 (7-4), 6:1.
If he wins the title, he will reach the number two spot on the ATP list.
-“I knew that Marin was very aggressive and that I had to be concentrated, to be mentally the whole time in the match,” said Carlos.
In the semi-final match, he will have a duel against the British Cameron Norrie, who previously beat Ben Shelton – the 19-year-old who knocked out Sonego and Ruud – 6:0, 6:2.
