The captain of the Serbian national team, Dusan Tadic, was disappointed after the defeat of his national team against the Swiss team.
Switzerland won with a score of 3:2 in the match of the last third round of Group G and thus secured a place in the round of 16 of the World Cup in Qatar.
“We played a difficult match, obviously exhausted after everything… We were emotionally spent, the match was at stake. Unfortunately, we also had problems with the Swiss, and several obvious ones. The main one was the lack of communication between the team lines,” said Dusan Tadic, almost in tears.
Relegation from the World Cup was difficult for the captain of Serbia.
“I wouldn’t agree if we didn’t look like the team from the qualifiers. We leave the competition with eight goals in the net, which is unacceptable. We had to do better, that’s a fact…”
