Dani Olmo, the representative of Spain, expressed his expectations before the decisive match against the Japanese national team in Group E of the World Cup in Qatar.
Spain is the leader of Group E with four points, Japan is second with three, the same number as Costa Rica, while Germany is at the bottom of the table with one point.
“Just as we wanted to beat Costa Rica and Germany, we want to beat Japan as well. We will not calculate. With a win, we go to the round of 16, that’s the goal. Nobody likes to play against Spain. We always go for victory,” said Olmo, then added:
“Coach Luis Enrique’s speech before the game was motivational. We talk about ourselves and what the game can give us. We always talk about two or three things that can help us win”.
The duel between Spain and Japan, or Germany and Costa Rica, is on the program from 8 p.m.
