The Israeli water polo players managed to achieve a historic victory in their debut appearance at the European Championship in the second round!
Israel defeated Slovenia 9:5 in the first match of today’s program, and with this victory, they secured a place in the round of 16 of the European Championship, while Slovenia is a round before the end without a chance to reach the knockout stage.
In the first match of the championship, they were convincingly defeated by Serbia with 18:3, while Slovenia suffered a defeat against Hungary at 23:7.
