Siġġiewi Rowing Club, also known as Siġġiewi Regatta Club, was established in 2016 with the aim of promoting the sport of rowing in Malta. Since its inception, the club has focused on developing rowing talent and encouraging greater participation in both local and international competitions.
The lineup for this year’s regatta features a strong mix of established rowing teams, including Gruppi Sportivi Fiamme Gialle, Lega Navale Sezione Brindisi, CUS Palermo, Circolo Canottieri Irno di Salerno, Palio di Taranto, and the Federazione Italiana Canottaggio – Sedile Fisso. Also competing are A.S.D. Associazione Mare Nostrum 2000 Civitavecchia, CUS Bari, and Città Metropolitana di R.C., alongside the Maltese team from Siġġiewi.
Participation in this prestigious event offers Siggiewi Rowing Club an important opportunity to showcase their skills and compete against some of the Mediterranean region’s top rowing squads.
