On December 7, 2024, Malta’s climbing community convened at Ġebla Climbing in Mrieħel for the National Bouldering Competition, featuring 68 climbers across seven categories. The event highlighted exceptional skill and determination through qualifiers, semifinals, and finals.
Competition Highlights
Participants in the Open and Youth A & B categories faced 15 qualifiers, 4 semifinal problems, and 4 finals boulders, with scoring based on achieving zones and tops. Climbers in the Youth C, D, and E categories competed in a minifinals round to break ties among top qualifiers.
