The Malta Karate Federation will field its largest ever team for the Small States of Europe Karate Championships, taking place in Larnaca, Cyprus, from 31 October to 2 November 2025. The event provides an important platform for athletes from smaller European nations to test their skills, assess their progress, and compete at a high level.
Over the years, the Small States of Europe Karate Championships have grown in stature and competitiveness. Cyprus, a country with a strong history of hosting international karate events such as Karate 1-Series A, Karate 1-Youth League, and the European Age Group Championships, remains a key centre for the sport in the region. Its proven experience as a host nation promises a high standard of competition for 2025.
The Malta Karate Federation is confident that its athletes will deliver strong performances in Larnaca, building on the momentum from recent international competitions and showcasing the growing strength of Maltese karate on the European stage.
The 2025 Small States of Europe Karate Championships in Cyprus is expected to be a highlight of the calendar, offering challenging competition and an opportunity for athletes to measure themselves against some of the best karate talent from smaller European nations.
