Qormi Daikin claimed their second trophy of the season by winning the Hockey Challenge Cup with a 2-0 victory over Floriana Young Stars. Qormi, who had already won the Super Cup earlier this season, scored twice in the first two quarters to take control of the match.
Tommy Kok and Luke Bajada scored the goals. Floriana pushed harder in the final quarter, but Qormi’s defence stayed solid to secure the win. After the match, Hockey Association of Malta president David Agius presented the trophy to Qormi player Juan Sarcia. The match was refereed by Alessandro Amore and Silvio Peralta.
In a Hockey 7s match, GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks beat Floriana Young Stars 3-1. Jayden Cutajar scored all three goals for Żurrieq, while Sofia Nesca scored for Floriana. The umpires were Dario Cacopardo and Silvio Peralta.
In the Under-14 league, Marsaskala Heat and Qormi Daikin drew 3-3. Saviour Grech, Liam Carabott, and Braylon Gatt Gellel scored for Marsaskala. Qormi answered with two goals from Sam Cassar and one from Zain Lee Carabott. The officials were Alessandro Amore and Silvio Peralta.
In another youth match, Floriana A beat Floriana B 6-0. Michele Galea Fava and Levi Borg Borda both scored twice, while Matteo Vella Chetcuti and Alec Borg Cesario added the other goals. This match was refereed by Kyran Carabott and Oscar Toledano.
