Qormi Daikin secured the Hockey Super Cup title with a commanding 9-1 victory over GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks.
From the first whistle, the Qormi side took complete control of proceedings, racing to a 7-0 lead by the end of the first two quarters. The third and final quarter proved little more than a formality for Andre Ghio’s team, who added two further goals before full-time. Żurrieq Wolves managed to salvage a late consolation.
Luke Bajada stood out as Qormi’s top performer, netting a hat-trick. He was joined on the scoresheet by Juan Sargia, Shawn Dimech, Julian Zahra, Keith Calleja, Neil Spiteri Montebello, and recent signing Tommy Kok. Angel Lupu scored the sole goal for GREE Żurrieq Wolves Hotsticks.
