Ħamrun 147 A and Cospicua Rangers will contest the final of the of Blackball National Christmas Cup 2023 after winning their respective semi-finals. Hamrun won with an overall score of 21-6 against Jojo’s Birżebbuġa while the team from Cospicua saw off Birkirkara Duke’s A 21-10 . The final on Friday 30 December will be contested between two of the best blackball teams at the moment. In the Regional Christmas Cup, Valletta Fossa Boys and Hamrun 147 C will be playing in next Thursday’s final after defeating their respective opponents. The Citizens beat Selmun Bar A 21-14 in the semi-final over two legs with the team C beat team D 21-9. Finally in the Community Christmas Cup, Marsa FC qualified for next Wednesday’s final after beating Selmun Bar B 21-11 while Birkirkara Duke’s C did the same after conquering the derby against Juve Birkirkara A 21-8. The three respective finals will be held at the Fuego Speakeasy Arena in Birkirkara.
