Ducati rider Francesco Bagnaia is the winner of today’s race for the Grand Prix of San Marino and Rimini, which was run in the Moto GP championship.
Bagnaia won his fourth consecutive victory on the “Marco Simoncelli” track, and finished the race in 41 minutes, 43.199 seconds.
Gresini Racing’s Enea Bastianini finished second, 0.034 seconds behind the winner, while Aprilia’s Maverick Vinales finished third (4.212).
Luca Marini from the VR46 team finished fourth, the current world champion Fabio Quartararo from Yamaha took the fifth place, and Ales Espargaro from Aprilia finished the race in the sixth position.
In the general ranking after 14 races, Quartararo leads with 211 points, second place was taken by Banjaya with 181 points, while Ales Espargaro is third with three points less.
The championship continues on September 18, when the Aragon Grand Prix is scheduled.
