VERSTAPPEN IS GOING FOR THE TITLE: The Dutchman is the fastest in front of the home crowd!

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen is the winner of the Formula 1 race for the Dutch Grand Prix.

The current world champion achieved the 30th triumph of his career on his home track, Zandvoort, and thus increased his lead in the general standings. 
Mercedes driver George Russell took second place, while Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc finished third.

Russell’s teammate Lewis Hamilton crossed the finish line in fourth place, while Red Bull‘s Sergio Perez ended the race in fifth position.

Points were also won by Fernando Alonso (Alpin), Lando Norris (McLaren), Carlos Sainz (Ferrari), Esteban Ocon (Alpin) and Lance Stroll (Aston Martin).

In the general standings after 15 races, Verstappen leads with 310 points, while Perez and Leclerc share second place with 201 points each.
