The BOV Women’s Water Polo League witnessed another thrilling round of matches on Sunday, February 16, at the National Pool Complex. The competition remains intense as teams fight for dominance in the league standings.

Sliema Arkadia 6-11 Sirens C&J Bonavia

Sirens C&J Bonavia secured an important victory over Sliema Arkadia with a strong 11-6 performance. Sirens demonstrated excellent teamwork and defensive discipline, shutting down Sliema’s attacking plays while capitalizing on their own scoring opportunities. With this win, Sirens continue to establish themselves as one of the top contenders in the league.

San Ġiljan 9-18 Malta U18 (Out of Competition)

Malta U18 put on a dominant display against San Ġiljan, cruising to an 18-9 victory. Although the match was played out of competition, it provided a great opportunity for the young Malta U18 squad to showcase their talent and gain valuable experience against a senior team. Their speed and tactical awareness proved too much for San Ġiljan, who struggled to keep up with the relentless offensive pressure.

With the league heating up, all eyes are on the upcoming fixtures as teams continue to battle for top positions.
