Maltese swimmer Sasha Gatt continued to shine on the national stage, setting two new records in a remarkable display of talent and determination at the 2025 Easter International meeting hosted by the ASA.

Gatt smashed her own previous record in the 400m Freestyle, clocking an impressive 4:16.36. This outstanding performance not only lowered her personal best but also reaffirmed her place as one of Malta’s top swimming talents.
As if one record wasn’t enough, Sasha went on to break the 200m Freestyle national record as well, touching the wall in a superb time of 2:04.25.
These back-to-back achievements highlight Gatt’s consistency and her relentless pursuit of excellence in the pool. These results will surely give Gatt a boost for her upcoming next international stage competition which will be the Andorra 2025 GSSE to be held in the last week of May.

In the meantime Sliema ASC were declared overall winners of the 2025 Easter International meeting meeting after ranking first in this 32nd edition.
