Malta’s rising triathlon talents, Kai Azzopardi and Ryan Muscat, are set to represent the nation at the 2025 World Triathlon Championship Finals in Wollongong, Australia. The announcement has sparked excitement within the Maltese sporting community as both athletes prepare to compete on the global stage.
Kai Azzopardi will take part in the Junior Men’s World Championship after an impressive season on the international circuit. His consistent performances have highlighted him as one of Malta’s most promising young triathletes.
Ryan Muscat, meanwhile, will compete in his category following his recent triumph at the European U19 Championships in Turkey. He will face over 75 athletes from around the world, further showcasing the strength and potential of Maltese triathlon on an international scale.
