Malta’s rising karting talent Zane Pace has taken a major step in his racing career by officially joining the internationally acclaimed Tony Kart Racing Team. The seven-year-old driver, has quickly established himself as one of Malta’s most promising young motorsport talents.
Representing DOM Team Malta, Zane claimed back-to-back victories in the 2022 Rotax Max Micro and 2023 Rotax Max Mini Championships. These early successes laid the groundwork for his growing reputation on the international karting scene.
The 2024 season proved to be a breakthrough year for Pace. Competing with SVM Racing Team in Sicily, he dominated the field, winning the Gr3 Category Zona 8 Sicily and finishing first overall in the Campionato Regionale 2024, outperforming 168 drivers. He also claimed victories in the ACI Sport Coppa Italia di Zona and the Final Cup at Circuito Internazionale Triscina, while remaining unbeaten in Malta, winning every race he entered.
In 2025, Zane continued to impress by competing in the ACI Campionato Italiano, securing strong results against some of Italy’s most competitive drivers. His performances have now earned him a coveted spot with Tony Kart, widely recognised as one of the most prestigious teams in international karting.
This appointment marks a remarkable milestone for Pace, who at just seven years old is already making a name for himself on the global stage. Malta’s motorsport fans will be following his career closely as he continues to race internationally, proudly carrying the island’s flag.
