Malta to host 2025 European Squash Team Championships (Division 3)

Malta Squash, together with the European Squash Federation (ESF), has announced that Malta will host the European Squash Team Championships 2025 (Division 3). The event will take place from 2nd to 5th April at the newly opened Marsa SportMalta Complex.

24 teams from 18 countries will compete for a chance to move up to Division 2. There will be 15 men’s teams and 9 women’s teams. Countries taking part include: Malta, Monaco, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, Gibraltar, Guernsey, Jersey, Portugal, Turkey, Lithuania, Greece, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden, Austria, Croatia, Ukraine, and Hungary.

Malta will compete with both a men’s and women’s team. The players representing Malta are:

Women’s Team:
Venita De Giorgio, Amke Fischer, Jocelyn Lydall, Colette Sultana, Lijana Sultana

Men’s Team:
Brad Hindle Deguara, Niall Engerer, Julian Scerri, Duncan Stahl, Kijan Sultana, Daniel Zammit Lewis

Team Malta’s matches on 2nd April are:

Women’s Team (Pool B):

  • 10:00 – Malta vs Luxembourg
  • 15:30 – Malta vs Turkey

Men’s Team:

  • 11:30 – Malta vs Greece
  • 17:00 – Malta vs Monaco

The European Team Championships 2025 (Division 3) is supported by SportMalta, the Maltese Olympic Committee, Bolt Business, Scott’s Supermarket, the Malta Tourism Authority, Astral, and others.
