3,760 Euro collected for Dar tal-Providenza

On Tuesday, March 19th, a public holiday celebrating the feast of St Joseph, Old Motors Club Malta collected E3760 during its annual show in aid of the Dar Tal-Providenza. This event brought together 112 Vintage and Classic Cars owned by club members in the same Dar Tal-Providenza car park.

The Display included vintage cars from the early nineteen nineties to modern classics of the late 1990s and everything in between, including supercars and commercial vehicles.

Besides the static show, the club also organised an area for coffee and a light snack, an AutoJumble, and beautiful rides on the scenic country roads in the area with a vintage bus. The activities went on between 09:30 and noon.

Aldo Pace, the event coordinator on behalf of Old Motors Club Malta, thanked all those who exhibited their cars that took part in the autojumble, Reniel Pisani for making his vintage bus available for the rides, and the volunteers who took care of the coffee area and everyone else that contributed to the success of the event, including photographers that took the opportunity to film the cars and the atmosphere and those that visited the show. Pace also took the liberty to announce the 2025 show again on the 19th of March.

Michael Mallia, Chairman of Old Motors Club, also thanked all those involved and said that events like these are one of the club’s main pillars: putting our hobby of keeping Vintage and Classic Cars alive for a good cause.

Father Martin Micallef, the director at Dar tal-Providenza, thanked Old Motors Club for the initiative the E3760 collected and explained how vital such collections are for the residents of Dar tal-Providenza. Father Micallef also invited the club to next yearā€™s edition of this event.
