The Arena Promotions marked another milestone for Maltese combat sports as the Reloaded Showdown delivered a sold-out evening full of excitement, drama and elite-level action. Held on 22 November 2025, the event reached maximum capacity as fans witnessed a powerful showcase of national and international bouts featuring fighters from Malta, Greece, Italy and Colombia.

The anniversary edition carried special significance, celebrating ten consecutive successful shows under the leadership of promoter Simon Chetcuti, who expressed heartfelt appreciation to all athletes, clubs, coaches, fans, sponsors and supporters. The strong turnout and the electrifying atmosphere reflected the remarkable growth of combat sports in Malta, with TAP continuing to establish itself as one of the island’s premier fighting events.

From youth exhibitions to national title bouts and international clashes, the evening delivered a full programme of high-level competition. Maltese athletes rose to the occasion, claiming victories in several key matchups and showcasing their strength, discipline and technical growth across boxing, kickboxing, K1 and MMA.


The boxing card opened with a series of exhibition bouts before the competitive action intensified. Among the standout performances was Ganni Usman’s first-round TKO, Zion Mercieca’s unanimous decision win, and Anthony Fieres’ second-round stoppage. Heavyweight contender Redeemer Abdilla captured the Arena National Title with a unanimous decision, while Zack Calleja delivered a spectacular second-round knockout to claim the Middleweight National Title.

Kickboxing and K1 bouts continued to energise the crowd. Shaia Carabott secured a unanimous decision in a junior national bout, while Jean Attard dominated his light heavyweight matchup. In international competition, Colombian athlete Luigi Rivera won by unanimous decision in MMA, while Maltese fighters scored important wins in youth kickboxing clashes against Greek and Sicilian opponents. The evening closed in style as Michael Bonnici captured the WKA Mediterranean Title with a convincing unanimous decision over Italian opponent Gianluca Acampora.

With each passing edition, TAP continues to raise standards, providing Maltese athletes with a professional platform to develop and compete while offering fans a world-class fight night experience. The landmark 10th edition highlighted the unity and passion driving Malta’s combat sports community forward.
