Joseph Tabone and Roderick Abela have both secured a place in the final of the individual boċċi competition after winning their semi-final matches.
Defending champion Joseph Tabone recovered well after losing his opening match to Andre Caruana. He came back to win 21-17 and forced a deciding game played to 11 points. Using his experience and determination, Tabone narrowly won 11-10 to book his spot in the final.
The other semi-final was just as close. Roderick Abela defeated Owen Bezzina after another deciding match. Abela won the first game 21-14 and sealed victory with an 11-4 win in the decider.
The final between Joseph Tabone and Roderick Abela will be played on Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Ħal Għaxaq pitch.
