Msida and Birkirkara also registered convincing wins, both defeating their respective opponents, Tarxien and Żabbar, with identical 21–11 scorelines. Żebbuġ, meanwhile, faced a tougher challenge against Lija but managed to edge out a 21–16 victory in a tightly contested match.
Żurrieq secured a valuable 21–13 win over Buġibba, while Għaxaq recorded the most emphatic result of the day, shutting out Thallasalejn with a resounding 21–0 score.
