Floriana and MFPA will meet in the final of the David Cluett Memorial Cup after both sides won their semi-final matches.
Floriana beat Luxol St Andrew’s Veterans 5-3 in a tough game. Bojan Kaljevic scored twice for the Greens, with Ryan Camilleri, Christian Cassar, and Manolito Micallef also on target. Luxol replied through Nenad Stankic, Emerson Amaira, and Matthew Schembri. The match was refereed by Gjorgji Bitri.
MFPA had a strong performance, defeating Birkirkara St Helen’s 10-3. Stanimir Miloskovic grabbed a hat-trick, while Jonathan Bondin, Michael Galea, and Julian Galea each scored twice. Mark Zammit added the final goal for the Malta Football Players Association. Federico Marine Tejada scored twice for Birkirkara, with Daniel Scerri adding the third. Gjorgji Bitri also took charge of this match.
The final will be played next Wednesday at the Dorotej Ground in Ħaż-Żebbuġ, with kick-off at 7:30 pm.
