All local Sports Associations and Federations must send in the application for registration of Sports persons (Sports Organisations) by December.
The Authority for Integrity in Maltese Sport has just launched the REGitALL scheme to support Maltese sports entities and organisations.
The Authority, known as AIMS, has introduced an initiative aimed at assisting local Federations, Associations, and sports clubs in meeting legal requirements for the registration of sports individuals.
AIMS has recently updated its regulations to enhance the integrity of how sports entities register with the Authority. These new and revised regulations aim to bring more seriousness and professionalism to the regulatory aspect of sports.
In order to facilitate such process, AIMS has launched a scheme offering professional assistance so that sports entities can fill in their registration by the deadline of December 31, 2024.
The REGitALL Scheme will provide aid from professionals specifically trained by AIMS to assist in this registration process. The scheme considers the challenges voluntary sports organizations face in terms of having enough volunteers and time to handle the legal formalities required.
Thus, the initiative is designed to offer full support and the much-needed assistance to sports organizations to comply with the Law. The services provided under this scheme will continue to be offered as long as they do not exceed the allocated budget.
These professionals will be meeting regularly with officials from these sports organizations to give them the necessary advice and to also assist throughout the entire process of the compilation of the obligatory schedules.
The Authority for Integrity in Maltese Sport informs that those organizations wishing to benefit from this assistance related to the REGitALL scheme are required to fill out this digital application: https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=9dnNNLhdvEmsugH2XMpoDcStwEJDTI9MplDdPRZMHktUNlNCWlIxSDU2WDkwRDFJR1BLQ1RIQ1A5Ny4u not later that 11th October, 2024.
