Eight players made it to the quarter finals of the Champion of Malta organized by the Malta Blackball Federation.
Reigning champion Dejan Grech found little difficulty to see off Stephen Mangion 7-2 while the the 2022 champion Clayton Castaldi had to struggle quite a bit to win over Scott Muscat 7-6. Even Miguel Mizzi and Ryan Pisani won with the same score over Liam Mifsud and Clint Azzopardi respectively.
Johan Attard continued to maintain his consistency after beating Miguel Amato 7-3 while Mevrick Zammit got a good 7-2 win against Kevin Schembri.
Finally there was absolute dominance of Leon Azzopardi who beat Jesmond Schembri 7-0.

Meanwhile, in the quarter-finals that will be played next Monday, Dejan Grech will play against Miguel Mizzi, Johan Attard will face Lydan Debono, Mevrick Zammit will face Ryan Pisani while Leon Azzopardi will face Clayton Castaldi.
