Time is running out for the Maltese public to cast their vote for the Atlas Youth Athlete of the Year Award 2025, a prestigious annual honour organised by Atlas Insurance in collaboration with the Malta Sports Journalists Association.
The award celebrates the country’s most outstanding young sporting talents, recognising dedication, consistency and excellence shown throughout the year. All athletes who were crowned Atlas Youth Athlete of the Month during 2025 are eligible for this top distinction, making the final shortlist a showcase of Malta’s brightest emerging sports stars.
Members of the public are invited to support their favourite athlete by liking or reacting to the athlete’s individual photo published in the official voting album. It is important to note that only reactions made on the original photos within this album will be counted towards the final tally.
Voting opened on Wednesday 14 January and will close on Friday 23 January 2026, giving supporters just a few remaining days to make their voice heard. The final result will be determined through a combined voting system, with 60 per cent of the outcome decided by sports journalists and 40 per cent by the public vote.
