Another evening of competitive fixtures unfolded across the local snooker league divisions on Monday night, with action taking place in the Premier League, First Division, Second Division and Third Division.
In the CE Installations Premier League, Isaac Borg continued his strong form with a convincing 4–1 victory over Clayton Goodrum. Borg maintained control throughout the match, finishing clinically and showing composure in key moments.
The Goliath Coatings First Division match produced a closer contest. Manuel Cachia edged past Lothar Mallia in a tightly balanced 3–2 encounter. Mallia pushed hard to stay in the match, but Cachia held his nerve to take the decisive leg.
There were three matches played in the Second Division. Geoffrey Sciberras claimed a 3–1 win over Gregory Cachia, while Kevin Vella secured the same scoreline in his 3–1 success against Raymond Micallef. In the evening’s most one-sided result, Jake Castaldi produced an assured performance to defeat Dante Pace 3–0.
Meanwhile, in the Third Division, Tony Vella delivered a commanding display as he registered a 3–0 victory over Luca Pellicano, closing out legs efficiently to cap off a strong showing.
The competitions continue later this week, with teams and players looking to build consistency as the league campaigns progress.
