The Maltese Olympic Committee (MOC) has signed a new five-year sponsorship deal with Deloitte Malta, forming a strategic partnership to boost sports development and governance in Malta.
As part of the agreement, Deloitte Malta will offer expert and technical support to the MOC. This will include help with governance, financial management, engaging stakeholders, developing talent, and organising events. They will also use modern tools and technologies, including artificial intelligence, to help the MOC achieve its goals. Deloitte’s support is expected to play a key role in helping Maltese athletes succeed internationally.
Deloitte Malta is now a Main Sponsor of the MOC and will work closely with the committee on various projects to improve transparency, efficiency, and sustainability in sports administration across Malta.
Julian Pace Bonello, President of the MOC, said: “We are very pleased to welcome Deloitte as a main sponsor on our path to sporting excellence. Their knowledge and dedication will be a great asset to our organisation and our athletes.”
Marc Alden, CEO of Deloitte Malta, added: “We are proud to support the Maltese Olympic Committee. This partnership shows our commitment to helping local talent and growing the sports scene in Malta. We believe we can help the MOC build a strong system that supports athletes to compete at the highest levels.”
This new partnership highlights both organisations’ commitment to building a stronger and more sustainable sports culture in Malta, giving athletes and all involved better support and opportunities.
