Santa Margherita won the Jends Triangular Futsal Tournament after securing maximum points in the matches they played.
They earned 24 points from eight games, scored 65 goals, and conceded 17 goals. Along with Santa Margherita, Parr Mela Rockets Futsal and Iklin also took part.
This was a tournament introduced for the first time between the teams that had been eliminated from the main women’s futsal championship. At the same time, the event featured some truly good play with highly entertaining matches.
Meanwhile, Estefany Colmenarez, a player from Venezuela representing Santa Margherita, ended the tournament not only as the best player but also the top scorer with 18 goals.
The best goalkeepers were Filothei Fey Papoutsaki and Jennifer Maria Galea, who conceded the fewest goals.
In a comment, organizer Robert Teuma thanked all the participating teams and emphasized the importance of such tournaments, especially when teams finish their season early. Teuma, along with the director of Jends, presented the prizes to the winners.
