Lija Athletics A and Mtarfa Futsal will contest the Enemed Women’s Futsal League play-offs final after achieving important victories in their respective semi-finals.
Lija Athletics A turned a loss into a win after winning 4-2 against Swieqi United.
Vanessa Carneiro and Dana Fuentes established a double advantage for Swieqi but Lija were able to turn the score in their favour with goals from Michela Felice, Irena Drugovic, an own goal from Krista Montfort and Izabella Camilleri.
Referees were Stephen Vella and Luca Formosa.
Mtarfa beat Lija Athletics B 2-1 to secure a place in the final.
Bibi Amaya surged Lija ahead but Mtarfa turned defeat into victory thanks to goals from Janice Pace and Demi Magrin.

The final between Lija Athletics A and Mtarfa Futsal will be the best of three games with the first match being played on Thursday 18 April with the second match taking place a week later. If necessary, a third match will also be played which is scheduled for May 2nd with the matches taking place at the De La Salle Pavilion.
