The Hamrun Sports Club recently participated in a training camp in Sicily, where they engaged in two friendly matches to prepare for the upcoming futsal season.
This is one of the new teams that will be competing in the Enemed Futsal League, led by Kieran Bugeja and assisted by Yalcin Sammut. In their first match, the team, also known as the Red/Blacks, faced ASD Futsal Mazara 2020 and suffered a 7-2 defeat, with goals scored by Habib Issa and Collin Sammut. In their second game, Hamrun Futsal went up against Marsala Futsal 2012, but unfortunately lost 7-1, with their only goal coming from Habib Issa.
The team consists of a blend of young and experienced players, making them a competitive and formidable force in the league. The roster includes Andres Felipe Aguilera, Dylan Bonnici, Matthias Borg, Dylan Cacciatolo, Kurt Darmanin, Kieran Debono, Rodney Debono, Braham Garcia, Hamza Harrat, Habib Issa, Amin Louati, Sheldon Mercieca, Nicholas Milenkoski, Sean Parnis, Dylan Pirotta, Collin Sammut, Hamza Sarfaoui, Iman Sedagathi, Justin Theuma, Dale Vella, and Kurt Zammit.
