Thioune seals Belarus move as Cadjenovic weighs Malta and overseas options

Earlier, Malta Sport exclusively revealed through its social media platforms that Saliou Thioune and Jovan Cadjenovic are no longer players of Ħamrun Spartans.

This portal can confirm that Thioune was sold, while Cadjenovic was released by the club, with the latter still considering options both in Malta and abroad.

Malta Sport can also exclusively reveal that Thioune has completed a move to Belarusian champions Maxline Vitebsk for an undisclosed fee. The midfielder made 26 appearances for Ħamrun Spartans, scoring five goals in the black and red.

As for Jovan Cadjenovic, sources close to the player told us that he is currently in discussions with clubs in the Malta Premier, while at least one opportunity abroad is also on the table. However, one of the Maltese sides is understood to be the firm favourite to secure the signature of the Montenegro international.
