19-year-old Gabriel Vella will spend the upcoming season on loan at Tarxien Rainbows from Ħamrun Spartans, in a move aimed at giving the young midfielder valuable experience in the Maltese Premier League.
Vella featured for the Spartans last season, particularly during the Opening Round of the campaign. Despite being just 18 at the time, he showed promise, composure, and maturity on the pitch. The loan move is seen as an important step in his development as he looks to gain regular first-team football at top-flight level.
