Naxxar Lions have continued to strengthen their squad by signing another Brazilian, this time forward Alessandro Soares Firmino.
The 29-year-old has played for several clubs in Brazil, including Arapongas, Iguacu, Portuguesa-MS, Operario-MS, Dourados AC, Falcon FC, Gremio Maringa, Costa Rica EC, and Naviraiense.
More recently, Firmino had a short spell with Al-Shabab in Bahrain, where he scored three goals in three matches.
Naxxar Lions will begin their YoHeath Malta Premier League campaign this Sunday with a game against Floriana at the National Stadium.
