In two more matches from the Bottom 6 of the Opening Round of the YoHealth Malta Premier, Mosta take on Żabbar, while Hibernians face Tarxien Rainbows in the South derby. Both games will be played at the Victor Tedesco Stadium.
The first match kicks off at 18:30, with Mosta and Żabbar level on 11 points each. Both teams will aim to move further clear of the bottom two and secure a top spot in this phase.
Mosta come into the game after a 1-0 loss to Gżira, while Żabbar earned a point in a 2-2 draw against Tarxien. Żabbar will be without Argentine forward Brian Gambarte, who is suspended following a red card against Tarxien. The two sides drew 1-1 in their first meeting this season.
The second match sees Hibernians take on Tarxien Rainbows in the Derby of the South. Hibernians sit second with 16 points, while Tarxien are bottom with six points, level with Naxxar.
Hibernians are clear favourites, as Tarxien have only won once this season and are now eight games without a win. However, Hibernians are also on a poor run, having gone six games without a win since their last victory, a 3-1 win over the same Tarxien on 29 September.
